About the book
Felicitas is hoping for a better world when she commits suicide at 34, a short time after Domenico, her lover, has left her. But the longed-for paradise fails to materialise. She ends up in a tough working world where only basket-weaving and the thoughts of the bereaved count. She does not fulfil the requirements of either and thus starts to tackle her new life. Single-mindedly, she works her way to the top and sets up a men’s department – with a place for Domenico.
Zimmer 307 is a novel about an intelligent, attractive woman who succumbs to a man’s (seductive) power and considers that the only way to counter it is self-destruction or violent revenge.
